What Reseller Systems UK collects, why, and what you can do about it. In plain English.

Who we are

Reseller Systems UK is run by Ross Thompson, a sole trader. Ross Thompson is the data controller for the personal information described here.

The calculators and the listing checker run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us or stored.

If you join the founder list we store your email address, what you asked to hear about, the page you signed up on, and when you agreed.
We use it only to email you about what you signed up for: the launch, founder places, new tools and offers from Reseller Systems UK. We never sell or share it.
You can leave the list at any time by replying to any email or contacting reseller.suite@gmail.com. We then delete your address.

If you create an account we store your email address, your display name, a securely hashed password (or your Google sign-in, if you use that) and sign-in times.
We also store the records you add yourself: stock items, costs, bulk buys, sales, expenses and notes. Only you can see them.
Please don't put other people's personal information in your notes. Records are about items and sales, not people.

If you use the AI listing writer, the photos you upload and the details you confirm are sent to Lovable AI to read the item and write the listing. Lovable AI may pass them to the underlying model provider (such as Google) to produce the result.
Photos are resized and their location data is removed on your device before upload. They are stored privately and only you can see them.
Your photos and listings are not used to advertise to you or sold to anyone.

We don't take payments yet. Before we do, we will update this notice to say which payment provider is used and what it receives.

Founder list: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Member accounts: to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract).
Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse: legitimate interests.

Hosting, database, photo storage and sign-in: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase).
AI listing writer: Lovable AI, and the model provider it uses.
Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Founder list: until you leave the list, or 2 years after we last emailed you, whichever comes first.
Account and records: while your account is open. Deleting your account deletes your records.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to some uses. Email reseller.suite@gmail.com.
You can delete your account yourself from the Plan page.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
